A Men's workshop
I use a wide variety of modalities, and reference a broad range of theories to help my clients. Because of this eclectic mixture of theory and modality, I give a lot of attention to explanation and education, so that you know what we're doing and why.
I believe that the life force that animates us is always moving toward healing and growth. I believe that at our core, we all want to thrive and not just survive. If this is true, then it is not so much about finding what is "missing," or fixing what is "wrong," as it is tracking down what we are doing that is preventing us from healing, growing, and thriving. I will help you find the clues and track down the blockages that are manifesting problems in your life.
The process of finding this growth and healing is something that I believe is co-created between us. Because of this, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of our work together. It is important that we create a relationship based on mutual respect, honesty, and trust. I will be vigilant about our relationship and will make every effort to maintain a safe and trusting atmosphere.
With in this relationship we may explore the dynamics of your family of origin, recall childhood experiences, or process other significant life experiences to help you understand how you have become who you are. To help find and process these significant life experiences we may focus on the physical conditions in your body, your dreams, your emotional patterns, your relationship patterns, or your spiritual experiences. Regardless of which method we choose or which area we focus on, the purpose of our work is always to help you open your heart to yourself to develop your personal authority and healthy self-esteem.
